Beaches

Neum has a Mediterranean climate, with long and warm summers and short and mild winters. The average annual temperature at this magical place is 16°C. The favorable climate allows all visitors, besides swimming and sunbathing, to enjoy climate therapy for seven months a year, which consists of clean coastal air, walks along the coast, and enjoyment in various water sports. Neum is quite a clean and beautifully decorated place. It is a true little paradise on Earth. If you want to retreat and spend your vacation in a small town, then Neum is the right choice!

Hutovo blato

The Hutovo Blato Nature Park was established in 1995 and is considered one of the largest bird wintering areas in Europe. This nature park extends over marshy, flat, and hilly areas, allowing you to observe marsh birds and many fish species, among which the eel stands out. Hutovo Blato is an ornithological reserve under state protection, where up to 250 bird species spend the summer or live permanently (distance from Neum about 45 km).

The Vjetrenica Cave

The Vjetrenica Cave, an interesting cave phenomenon, was first mentioned in 77 AD by Pliny the Elder. The first scientific description of this cave was given in 1929 by the Belgrade researcher Mihajlo Radovanović. A number of interesting paleontological finds were discovered in Vjetrenica, including a complete leopard skeleton (Panthera pardus) found in 1968. This cave hides a rich cave world where up to 200 different animal species have been discovered. It is considered one of the largest habitats of the famous amphibian, the so-called human fish, which inhabits the narrowest part of the karst areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is a city in Croatia located on the Adriatic coast that you should definitely not miss visiting. Thanks to its fantastic seaside location, the best time to visit Dubrovnik is during the spring or the exceptional summer months when the streets are bustling with numerous tourists eagerly exploring every corner. If you have ever wondered whether to visit Dubrovnik, the answer is unequivocal - yes.

Mostar

Mostar is the administrative center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the largest city in Herzegovina, but it is also known for its unique symbol. This is the famous bridge on the Neretva, the Old Bridge, built five centuries ago, destroyed at the end of the twentieth century, and rebuilt several years later. Besides its impressive history, the bridge is also known for a famous event where brave participants jump into the Neretva from a height of 27 meters.
